I wasn't having any luck finding any avatars that I liked, so I decided to borrow some from the artwork of Jason Engle. They are now in place and ready for use. It was probably a waste of time to make them, as I've found that most people prefer to use custom avatars, which is possible as well, but I wanted to have something available to those with little ambition!

If you are planning on uploading a custom avatar, which is fine, I've found that 100 x 100 pixels works well. I even created my own from a symbol that many of you will probably recognize.

Recently, I've spent some time working on the new forums. Like the main site, Fireboard uses its own template or theme. Unlike the theme for the main site, however, I was lucky in finding one that matched relatively well. The theme, simply called orange, only required a minimal amount of tweaking to fit the layout of the site. Now—if I could just find some better avatars...
